Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Contracts Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead the preparation, evaluation, and management of all contract documents related to the metro project, including tenders, agreements, amendments, and claims.
  • Oversee tendering and bidding processes, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and project objectives.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to safeguard project interests and ensure clarity of obligations.
  • Monitor contract execution and performance, proactively identifying and resolving contractual issues, disputes, and variations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements, including risk management and claims mitigation.
  • Provide contract administration support throughout the project lifecycle, including change management, claims analysis, and dispute resolution.
  • Offer expert advice, guidance, and training to project teams on contract management best practices, procedures, and risk minimization strategies.

Profile/Skills

  • Graduate in Civil /Electrical Engineering
  • 18+ years in Contract management in railways or railway related industry or Metro. Out of which minimum 7 years in Metro.
