Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Senior AFC expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead the design, implementation, and integration of AFC systems (such as ticket vending machines, gates, validators, and backend software) to meet project and operational requirements.
  • Review and approve technical documents, specifications, and system architecture for AFC solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
  • Supervise and coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of AFC hardware and software at stations, control centers, and depots.
  • Manage interfaces with other metro systems (signaling, telecom, IT, financial, and operational management) to ensure seamless passenger transaction processing.
  • Support system integration testing, trial runs, and acceptance procedures, identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, financial regulations, and operational protocols in all AFC transactions and data handling.
  • Provide technical leadership and training to project teams, maintenance staff, and operators on AFC technology, maintenance requirements, and troubleshooting procedures.

Profile/Skills

  • Graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Telecommunication
  • 18+ years in rail related major infrastructure project/railway/ metro. Shall have experience of writing AFC/PSG procurement specification and managing/reviewing detailed design AFC/PSG in at least two metro projects.
