We are seeking applications for the position of Quantity Surveyor for New Delhi Railway station redevelopment project based at New Delhi.
· Check detailed cost estimates for NDLS projects, including materials, labor, equipment as per the timeline of the project. Utilize quantity take-off techniques and cost databases to generate accurate and reliable estimates based on project specifications and drawings. · Measure and quantify the quantities of materials, work items, and services required for construction activities. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify quantities and assess progress against planned schedules. · Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities (BOQs), specifications, and contract terms and conditions (if any) for EPC Contractor. Coordinate with procurement and legal teams to ensure that tender packages are comprehensive and competitive. · Administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors. Review contract documents, negotiate terms and conditions, and monitor compliance with contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle. · Monitor project costs and expenditures against budgetary allowances and forecasts. Identify variances, discrepancies, and potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions to mitigate financial risks. · Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization to maximize project value while minimizing expenses. Propose alternative materials, construction methods, or design solutions to achieve cost savings without sacrificing quality or performance. · Evaluate and assess claims and change orders submitted by contractors and subcontractors. Review supporting documentation, negotiate settlements, and resolve disputes in a timely and equitable manner. · Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training. · Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training · Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company. · Ensure each member of team has gone through 9 lifesaving rules · Everyone had gone through the Anti-Corruption training. |
