About Project : Systra is appointed as Project Management Services for Provision of KAVACH (Train Collision Avoidance System) in Bina-Itarsi- Jujharpur section, BPL-SHRN section and UP and DN flyover track from Jujharpur to Powarkheda of Bhopal Division, West Central Railway

 

We are seeking applications for: 

 

Position: Design Expert (Signal)

Hiring for PMC of Kavach in Bina-Itarsi-Jujharpur section, BPL-SHRN section and UP and DN flyover track from Jujharpur to Powarkheda of Bhopal Division, West Central Railway.

 

Location: Madhya Pradesh

 

Site Deployment

Missions/Main Duties

  • Review Signalling design, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project management consultants and signalling contractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.

Profile/Skills

Professional Qualification:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Length of Experience:

  • Total professional experience of 4 years for Graduate Engineers or 5 years for Diploma Engineers in designing Railway Signalling. Out of the total experience, at least 3 years (for Graduates) and 4 years (for Diploma holders) shall be in the post of design director/design expert in Project Management Consultants and/or with Signalling Contractors for signalling construction projects and/or with OEMs of Electronic Interlocking system either indvidually or combined.

OR

  • having at least 4 years of experience as JE (Signal) / JE (Design) and above in the S&T Department of Railways and/or as Sr Executive and above in the Signal & Telecommunication Engineering department in RITES/IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/DFCCIL/any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.

OR

  • having 2 years of experience as SE (Signal) / SE (Design) and above in the S&T Department of Railways and/or as Assistant Manager and above in the Signal & Telecommunication Engineering department in RITES/IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/DFCCIL/any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.

Relevant Experience:

  • Experience in designing of installation, testing and commissioning of RRI/PI/SSI for atleast 3 years and Training of basic KAVACH course at IRISET.
  • The personnel should not have any history of involvement in vigilance/CBI/SPE/Police case resulting in major penalty punishment of removal / dismissal / compulsory retirement or conviction.
