We are seeking applications for the position of Water Treatment Specialist for Transport Infrastructure project in South Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and assess the contractor’s detailed process design for the rehabilitation and extension of water treatment plants.

• Advise the Project Management Unit (PMU) on all aspects related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, and trial operation of Water Treatment Plants (WTP).

• Review and provide feedback on contractors’ operating manuals to ensure compliance with best practices and project requirements.

• Develop and deliver training sessions to PMU staff on the operation and maintenance (O&M) of water treatment facilities.

• Master’s degree in civil engineering, Water Supply Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in engineering or water treatment project roles.
• At least 15 years of specialized experience in the design of water treatment plants.
• Direct involvement in at least one project utilizing MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on donor-funded development projects.
