We are proud to deliver Project Management Services to the Rail Land Development Authority (Indian Railways) for three major railway station projects: Mumbai, New Delhi, and Ahmedabad. Our involvement spans the entire project lifecycle, ensuring comprehensive support throughout each stage of implementation.

 

We are seeking applications for the position of NKC 11 - Sr. Architect for RLDA office for Project “Redevelopment Project of CSMT Railway Station and construction of associated infrastructure, RLDA, Mumbai.”

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead architectural design activities for the CSMT redevelopment project, including conceptualization, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation. Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that integrate historical preservation with modern functionality.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, consultants, and contractors, to integrate architectural designs seamlessly with other project components. Coordinate design reviews, meetings, and presentations to ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, heritage conservation authorities, and other relevant stakeholders involved in the approval process for architectural designs. Coordinate submissions, respond to inquiries, and address feedback to facilitate timely approvals and permits.
  • Prepare and manage architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation throughout all project phases. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain design excellence and consistency across all architectural deliverables. Conduct design reviews, audits, and inspections to verify compliance with project requirements and best practices.
  • Provide support to the project management team in budgeting, scheduling, and procurement activities related to architectural services. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and assist in the resolution of design-related issues to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including project sponsors, community groups, and heritage preservation organizations, to solicit input, address concerns, and build consensus on architectural design decisions. Facilitate communication and collaboration to promote project success.
  • Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training.
  • Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training
  • Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company.
  • Ensure each member of team has gone through 9 lifesaving rules
  • Everyone had gone through the Anti-Corruption training.

Profile/Skills

  • Education qualification – B.Arch
  • Years of experience – Overall Exp - 8 Years, Similar position - 2 Years, Similar project - 3 Years 
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
  • Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
