Develop of scheme and detail design of roads, bridges and railways require a different specialization and skill compared to building structures. The above responsibilities differentiates an alignment drawing developer against the other drawing disciplines devoted to structural or architectural or MEPF.

·        Develop schematic and detail drawings of horizontal developments – roads, railway and bridge structures including visualization of horizontal and vertical curves to meet design parameters;

·        Integrate topographic and other geodetic information into the alignment drawing development;

·        Coordinate drawing development with the roads and railways engineers and with the other engineering disciplines to ensure drawing quality and avoid potential clashes; and

·        Develop drainage design drawings related to the roads, bridges and railways.

Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• Must be proficient CAD softwares especially AutoCAD Civil 3D; and
• Computer literacy is a must. Proficient in MS Outlook and collaboration tools such as MS Teams.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum an educational background in drafting technology with training in CAD softwares; and
• Civil Engineering background is a definite advantage but not a must.
