Monitoring Engineer

• 2–3 years of experience in NOC / Monitoring / Operations roles
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, preferably Centreon, Nagios, Azure Monitor etc
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring concepts
• Experience in incident management and alert handling
• Good communication and coordination skills

Good to Have

• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
• Basic database knowledge (MySQL/MariaDB, queries, performance concepts)
• Exposure to ITIL-based operations

• Perform 24x7 monitoring of applications, systems, and infrastructure through NOC tools
• Handle application performance monitoring, alert analysis, and initial troubleshooting
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance KPIs
• Use Centreon for infrastructure and performance monitoring
• Identify, log, and escalate incidents as per defined SLAs
• Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for incident resolution
• Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports
• Follow SOPs and document incidents, resolutions, and trends
