Position: QA/QC Expert

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Ahemedabad/Delhi

This position shall report to PD and Dy. PD. The activities of this position shall include but not limited to:

1. Review of detailed Quality Assurance(QA) and Quality Control (QC) Plans and implementation in the entire project phases for the packages under its scope.
2. Reviewing and monitoring QA/QC plans of other Contractors(as applicable).
3. Establishing standard procedures & tools for QA/QC.
4. Compliance of the requirements of multilateral /bilateral funding agencies (as applicable).
5. Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals (as applicable).
6. Carry out inspections of contractor’s works.
7. Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by the PD/Client(NHSRCL).

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma

Experience:

1. Engineering Graduate with overall 15 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 18 years of experience in infrastructure projects** .
2. 08 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) /Quality Control (QC) during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

*Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed
Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:

• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater
  than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger
  Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph
  shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be
  considered for evaluation.

**Infrastructure Project shall mean Railways/Metro, Roadways, Airways, Telecommunication,
Power and Energy sector.
