Managing prime contract and subcontracts for a high-value, multi-disciplinary Metro Rail project. Reporting to the Project Director to safeguard the General Contractor’s (GC) commercial interests and legal compliance.

• Contract Administration: Ensure full compliance with Prime Contract (FIDIC/Bespoke) and manage all formal correspondence.

• Claims & Variations: Identify, draft, and negotiate Extension of Time (EoT), variation orders, and cost claims.

• Subcontract Management: Oversee the entire subcontract lifecycle, from tendering to final account closure.

• Risk Mitigation: Early identification of contractual risks and drafting "Notices of Delay" to protect the GC.

• Financial Tracking: Review progress payments, price adjustments, and liquidated damages.

• Technical: Strong grasp of FIDIC, contract law, and Quantity Surveying (QS).

• Project Controls: Ability to link construction delays (Primavera/MS Project) to contractual impact.

• Soft Skills: High-level negotiation, persuasive legal drafting, and dispute resolution.

• Experience: 3-5years in infrastructure; 3+ years specifically in Metro/Heavy Civil projects.

• Qualification: B.Tech Civil + PG in Construction Management or RICS/LLM (preferred).
