As a Design Manager, you will be the technical linchpin between our clients, stakeholders, and internal engineering teams. You will oversee the delivery of robust, innovative, and constructible design solutions, managing the entire project lifecycle.

• Lead the technical delivery across the full project spectrum, from initial concept development and D&C bid phases through to final detailed design and IFC packages.
• Ensure every design detail meets high standards of safety, quality, and sustainability, while maintaining a focus on buildability in a D&C environment.
• Manage design programs, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met without compromising technical integrity.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, Tier 1 contractors, and government authorities (including Transport for NSW).
• Harmonise civil design with utilities, structures, and environmental requirements to provide a seamless project outcome.

You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for the "how" and "why" of civil design. You understand that a successful project is built on the strength of its transition from a visionary concept to a rigorously detailed documentation set.

• Demonstrated experience working on Sydney Metro projects. You understand the specific standards, safety requirements, and delivery models associated with world-class rail and station infrastructure.
• Significant experience in Roads and Highways design (TfNSW/RMS standards), including geometric design, pavements, and drainage.
• Proven ability to manage the D&C lifecycle. You understand the pace of tender environments and the importance of delivering cost-effective, high-quality concepts that translate into successful builds.
• A career-strong background in producing and overseeing detailed design phases. You understand the granular technical requirements of civil engineering.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered.
