We are seeking applications for the position of Geotechnical engineer for Urban transport project.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Conduct detailed site investigations to assess soil, rock, and terrain conditions along the ropeway corridor.
  • Perform geotechnical assessments including soil testing, slope stability analysis, and foundation design.
  • Analyze geotechnical data to recommend engineering solutions that ensure safety, sustainability, and climate resilience.
  • Provide technical input for corridor alignment and station design, ensuring integration with civil and structural engineering requirements.
  • Assess potential environmental impacts and propose mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, environmental, and transport engineers) to deliver coordinated project outcomes.
  • Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for project stakeholders.

Profile/Skills

  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in geotechnical assessments, preferably with ropeway or urban transport projects.
  • Strong expertise in soil mechanics, slope stability, and foundation engineering.
  • Experience working on international projects and ability to adapt to intermittent assignments.
  • Familiarity with climate resilience measures and sustainable infrastructure practices.
  • Mandatory: Candidates must demonstrate professional experience in at least three different countries.
  • Mandatory: Indian nationals meeting the above criteria will also be considered as international experts.
