Context

Under the Project Director, the duty of the Rail Systems Technical Coordinator is mainly analysing, studying, monitoring, evaluating, tracking, and coordinating the Works related to systems matters.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Manage a team of engineers, experts and inspectors in charge for the underground section of the System Packages for CP06-CP07-CP09:
    • Design review
    • Application of the International standards such as NFPA 130 and the VN standards when applicable
    • Construction supervision
    • Testing & Commissioning
    • Acceptance
  • Support the interface resolution team
  • Support the Contract and Cost& Planning teams
  • Report as needed to the Client’s Management on technical issues
  • Coordinate the review of Contractor’s design submissions, method statements, T&C procedures and results and their compliance with the Employer Requirements
  • Evaluate value engineering proposals
  • Check that the design submissions are in conformity with the pre-agreed formats and timeline for submission.
  • It’s expected to comment on and suggest any alterations to the design necessitated by site conditions throughout the duration of the Project
  • Communicate early warnings
  • Verify and review the continued adequacy, suitability and effectiveness of implemented systems and services
  • Create and promote a continuous improvement approach among the team members
  • Invest in training, team-building activities in order to sustain motivation among team members

Profile/Skills

Qualifications:

  • Engineer in System Work, with International experience.

Essential:

  • Having minimum 12 years of experience in consulting field or working field.
  • Or having minimum 10 years of experience in consulting field or working field including minimum 5 years of experience in similar project or project of the same scale.

Language:

  • English: Fluent
