About Project: Systra is appointed to provide Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System Of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Position: Site Engineer-SHE-1

 

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project


Location: Site

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert in performing tasks that shall include the following but not limited to:

  1. Assisting in establish Safety Management System covering the comprehensive safety management in whole system which shall include; safety requirements for disaster protection of fire, flooding, earthquakes and lightning, train operation rules.
  2. Assisting in developing an emergency procedure including contact networking with hospitals, fire stations, polices stations, military bases, and other organizations, if any.
  3. Assisting in proposed safety, health and environment concerns to be proposed for the better SHE management system.
  4. Assisting in the review of the safety, health and environmental measures during construction based on the detailed design and identify efficiency of accident mitigation measures based on this review.
  5. Assisting in instructing the contractors to provide sufficient safety devices and sign boards for own safety as well as safety of general traffic and pedestrians.
  6. Assisting in advising the Environmental Expert to undertake environmental monitoring and take necessarymitigation measures.
  7. Assisting the process to ensure all health measures for the workforce on the site and offices.
  8. Assist to ensure compliance of statuatory measures as issued by the government and any other authority .
  9. Assist NHSRCL on supervision of contractors

  6. Assist to advise the Environmental Expert to undertake environmental monitoring and take necessary mitigations.
  7. Assist in ensuring all health measures for the workforce on the site and offices.
  8. Assisting in ensuring the compliance of statutory measures as issued by the government and any other authority .
  9. Assist NHSRCL on supervision of contractors regarding to the site safety and labour health.
  10. Assist any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by the PD/Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.
Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Minimum Qualification:

  1. Full time regular B.E/B. Tech with Govt. recognized full time regular Diploma in Safety.
  2. Full time regular BE/B. Tech in safety.
  3. Government recognized regular full time PG Degree in Environmental Engineering/Sciences with Regular Full Time Govt. Recognized Safety diploma/Degree.
  4. Full time regular science degree with International Qualifications like CSP(Certified safety professional), NEBOSH Diploma.
  5. Recognised degree in any branch of engineering from recognized university with International qualifications like CSP (Certified safety professional), Diploma in NEBOSH.

Experience:

Engineering Graduate, or PG degree in Environment Engineering/Science with overall 05 years, or Degree in Science with overall 07 years of experience in SHE management during construction phase in Rail based Transit System project(s)*.


*Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:

  • High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
  • Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
  • Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
