Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Team Leader (Civil) is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Shall communicate with the Authority and other stakeholders of the Project.
  • Lead the GC team by providing guidance and support and also ensure to deliver all deliverables as per the schedule duly confirming to the Quality Management
    Programme (QMP).
  • Review all the Project documents and provide necessary suggestions for implementation of the Project keeping cost effectiveness and timely completion in mind.
  • Identify appropriate design codes and standards in collaboration with the Design Standards Consultant for the Project.
  • Preparation of prequalification documents, tender documents, preliminary design for civil and system works that are necessary for appointment of construction firms on Design and Build basis.
  • Hold discussions with the Authority on prepared tender documents, proposed procurement procedures and seek their approval for initiating the procurement process.
  • Conducting pre-bid meetings, furnishing clarifications to the tenderers, tender opening, tender evaluation, award and signing of contract agreements.
  • Preparation of a detailed project implementation plan and monitoring the progress as per the ToR. Conduct periodic progress review meetings with construction agencies and provide solutions to the technical issues if any on a regular basis.
  • TL shall give necessary approvals and issue GFC drawings in time.
  • Develop procedures and protocols for supervision,progress monitoring, reporting, checking, measurement of works, verification & certification of contractors’ bills.
  • Submit the detailed monthly progress reports to the Authority duly indicating the achieved progress and slippages if any with reasons and also the mitigative
    measures to makeup the progress if required.
  • Exercising the quality and safety checks/audits as per the QMP and Safety Audit Plan to ensure the best quality through best safety practices.
  • Assist the Authority in timely addressing of the contractors’ issues to avoid any claims in future and also in contractual correspondence with contractors.
  • Provide quick decisions on technical matters to avoid any delays which might affect the Project progress.
  • Preparation of O&M Manuals for the rail system under construction and planning training program for the Authority’s personnel.
  • Develop protocols for the testing and commissioning of the system and assist the Authority in satisfying all the prerequisites that are necessary for obtaining approvals for COD from competent government and statutory authorities.
  • Preparation of final bills, as built drawings and assisting the Authority in claimless conclusion of the contracts with the agencies.
  • Prepare and maintain a risk register and suggest mitigation measures.

Profile/Skills

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering
  • Shall have a minimum total experience of 25 years. Out of which minimum 08 years of experience shall be relevant to the present assignment. Out of which shall have at least 5 years of experience in the rank of Team Leader or one position below
  • Shall have at least 3 years of continuous working experience in a single relevant project.
  • Relevant project experience means working experience with / as client / contractor while implementation of a Metro Rail / Railway System project or with / as consultant providing GC / PMC / IE services while implementation of Metro Rail / Railway System projects.
