Missions/Main Duties

  • Ensure implementation of HSE policies, procedures and statutory requirements at Surat Metro project site
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions
  • Maintain safety records, incident reports, toolbox talk records, training records, PPE issuance register
  • Ensure compliance with Metro Rail safety guidelines, MoHUA norms, and client requirements
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and safety training for workers, staff and subcontractors
  • Promote safety culture and awareness across the site
  • Coordinate with project team for timely closure of safety observations
  • Check usage of PPEs and safety of tools, equipment, scaffolding, electrical installations
  • Ensure barricading, signage, and traffic management as per site plan
  • Liaise with client, PMC, and project team on all safety matters
  • Participate in safety meetings and audits

Profile/Skills

Graduate in any discipline preferably with Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety
