Reporting directly to the Tender Department Manager, the Proposal Manager will be responsible for the operational coordination and finalization of technical and economic proposals for both public and private tenders, at national and international levels.
Key responsibilities include:
Bid Management & Coordination: Manage the entire proposal lifecycle, from initial tender review to timeline planning, ensuring strict adherence to submission deadlines and high-quality documentation.
Technical-Commercial Interface: Actively collaborate with Project Managers, internal technical experts, and external partners to gather necessary inputs and structure them into a competitive proposal.
Technical Proposal Development: Support the drafting and assembly of methodological reports, management plans, and qualitative criteria required by the tender.
Cost Analysis & Financial Proposal: Collaborate on pricing strategy, project cost analysis, and the preparation of the economic offer.
Education: Degree in Engineering (Civil, Management, Environmental, or related fields) or Architecture.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience as a Proposal/Bid Specialist/Manager or Project Manager within an engineering firm.
Technical Skills:
Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Code and award procedures for engineering and architecture services.
Familiarity with the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) evaluation criteria.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel and Word).
Language Skills:
Excellent command of the Italian language (written and spoken), with strong skills in drafting and reviewing complex technical and methodological documents.
Excellent knowledge of the English language (B2/C1 level), required for analyzing and managing international tenders.
Soft Skills: Outstanding organizational and planning skills, ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, high attention to detail, and strong ability to handle pressure under tight deadlines.
