Context

We are seeking a Control and Protection Engineer with strong experience in AC/DC metro or rail electrical systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparation of single line diagrams, protection coordination studies, ETAP-based coordination curves, battery sizing calculations, and control cable schedules. The role requires sound technical knowledge of traction and auxiliary power systems, protection schemes, relay coordination, and substation control design.

Missions/Main Duties

The candidate must have expertise in Control and protection 

1. Proven experience in control and protection design for metro, rail, or infrastructure projects

2. Strong knowledge of AC and DC system protection coordination

3. Hands-on experience in ETAP for coordination studies and TCC curve preparation

4. Experience in battery sizing and DC auxiliary system calculations

5.Expertise in preparing control cable schedules and electrical design documentation

6.Good understanding of electrical standards, protection philosophy, and design interfaces

7.Ability to work independently on design, review, and coordination tasks

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years  of relevant experience depending on role level
  • 01 years of total experience
  • Experience in metro, rail, substation, or traction projects preferred
  • Proficiency in ETAP and electrical design documentation tools
  • Good communication and coordination skills
