Currently, we are bidding for Highway projects across India. The position of Team Leader cum Project Manager is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Ensure that all supervision activities are carried out in accordance with the contract, technical specifications, design drawings, and applicable standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the Client, Contractor, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Review and approve work programs, method statements, and construction schedules submitted by the Contractor.
  • Supervise quality control and ensure that materials and workmanship comply with project requirements.
  • Identify project risks, resolve technical and contractual issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review interim payment certificates, variation orders, claims, and project reports.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress, technical, and management reports to the Client.
  • Coordinate with design teams and relevant authorities on changes, approvals, and site issues.
  • Ensure proper project documentation, record keeping, and handover at project completion.

Profile/Skills

  • He should be Graduate in Civil Engineering along with Post Graduate Degree in Highway Engineering/ Geo-Tech Engineering / Structural Engineering
  • He should have minimum 20 Years of professional expereince
  • He shall have at least 5 years on similar projects in hill roads which are equivalent in scope and complexity.
  • The candidate shall have a minimum 4 years experience in the position
    of Team Leader or 6 years experience as Senior Resident Engineer/Resident Engineer in highway projects
  • He/ She shall have worked as Team Leader or Senior Resident Engineer/ Resident Engineer on at least 2 projects and 4 years on works based on World Bank funded contracts awarded through competitive bidding
  • He should have at least work for 3 years in the preparation of DPR of similar road projects preferably for the Hill Roads in the capacity of either Sr. Highway Engineer OR as Team Leader.
